Joanna Newsom Announces Triple Album

After a four-year hiatus following 2006’s Ys, harpist and magical woodland fairy Joanna Newsom has announced the February 23 release of her new three-LP set. It’s called Have One On Me, and if you can’t hold out until then, the single “‘81″ is being streamed over at Drag City.

It looks like Newsom may be going in a slightly new direction with this one, but I’m basing that on the album cover, lettered in a font that could be used to advertise dance music. Maybe there’ll be a Timbaland collab track?
