The Glorious Amen Break

There is apparently one six second drum loop more famous than any other in American pop culture: the amen break. I don’t know how many of you have heard this make-shift lecture youtube video on the sample but it’s really interesting. I meant to just listen to the beginning but was quickly sucked in and listened to the full 18 minutes. Check it out.
